Construction of mathematical model of the contact transition resistance of bolted connection

The basic ways of stabilization the electrical resistance of the contact transition at the bolted connection has been listed. These are tinning, cladding and coating of the transition contact surface by conductive greases. The article considers the mathematical model construction of the technique of transient resistance of bolted contact connection of tire. As independent variables of the dependence of transition resistance of the contact transition have been selected: the torque data when tightening the bolted connection and the density of conductive grease. The grease density was changed by a number of conductive components. To build the model the well-known methods of experimental planning have been used. The possibility of using a low-degree polynomial to obtain an adequate model of the electrical resistance of the contact bolted connection transition through the transformation of the independent variables has been shown. Recommendations for the transformation of the independent variables of the polynomial approximated dependence using a power function have been given.
