Linear flux-switching generators of the electrical power autonomous objects

Abstract

Issues on constructing and designing of small- and medium-capacity linear flux-switching generators with high-energy permanent magnets have been considered. The basic relations for the electromagnetic calculation for these electromechanical converters have been revealed and comparative analysis of the linear generator with permanent magnets placed on a moving component and linear generators with permanent magnets on the stator have been given. Such a construction has several advantages, for instance, an increased vibration resistance, smaller mass and dimensions of the movable element. The application possibilities of such generators as power supplies for electric power complexes of autonomous objects have been shown. The design of linear flux-switching generator and the calculation results of its characteristic parameters have been given.
