Calculation and the analysis of the magnetic field of torque motors with the limited rotation angle of the rotor

Abstract

The article proposes the calculation method for a torque motor’s magnetic field with a limited rotation angle and excitement from permanent magnets. The offered mathematical model of the motor is applicable for the air-gap motors with a ring winding of a stator and the nominal torque from several Nanometers to tens Nanometers. The magnetic field is calculated with the help of the ELCUT program complex. Calculation of motor’s torque characteristics has been carried out. The dependence calculation of the torque on the rotation angle at a direct current on a stator winding has been carried out by the transformation of the MT geometrical model comprising the turn of all blocks of the model, related to a stator concerning the beginning of the coordinates, coinciding with an axis of rotation of the motor. Calculations for the offered mathematical model, subsequently confirmed with experimental data, has shown that instability of the torque within a rotating corner does not exceed 2,2 %.
